Duchamp’s window – an open access exhibition for work inspired by Duchamp’s art, life or time in Herne Bay.  It will take place from 17th to 30th July 2013 at Beach House.  Submission fees: Up to 600 mm in any dimension – £5. Art Bike Trail - a guerrilla installation inspired by Duchamp’s Bicycle Wheel, featuring bicycles modified for creative purposes yet still rideable.  This event is open to any individual or group who wishes to enter an art bicycle to be displayed around Herne Bay and include in Herne Bay’s annual carnival on Saturday August 10th.  To find out more, please contact Karen Simpson via email –

iamnotdead exhitition – a major exhibition of newly commissioned works from over 50 Kent based artists, responding in their own way to Duchamp’s legacy and influence. This will take place at various venues including Beach Creative, Bay Art Gallery and Kings Hall.  This is an invitation only event and is already over-subscribed.  However, we may be able to accommodate additional contributions should we be successful in obtaining additional venues.  Should you wish to join the reserve list, please email David Cross –
